LEARN – SHARE – NETWORK The CDO Summit is the premier event for digital & data leaders: March 15, 2017 | Sydney, Australia April 26-27, 2017 | New York, USA June 28-29, 2017 | Washington DC, USA
We live in a time that is dominated by constant change and upheaval, particularly in relation to organisations and future operating models.
The challenges and opportunities are not limited to the private sector – government and the public sector are also grappling with the demands of digitally enlightened and empowered citizens.
To help our fellow CDOs make sense of it all, at last year’s Sydney CDO Summit we were the first to bring all three city Chief Digital Officers together on one stage, representing Melbourne, Brisbane, and Canberra.
This year, we’re excited to announce the following keynotes from Australia’s public sector digital and data leaders:
Paul Shetler will set the tone for the day by giving the opening keynote on “Lessons Learnt from Transforming Government in the UK and Australia.” Mr. Shetler was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of the Digital Transformation Office for the Australian Government (now Digital Transformation Agency), and former Chief Digital Officer at the UK’s Ministry of Justice.
Dr. Ian Opperman, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Data Scientist at NSW Data Analytics Centre, will keynote over lunch on “Data Driven Policy: Seeing the World Differently.”
Damon Rees, Chief Information and Digital Officer at NSW Government, will then keynote on “Digital Government Agenda for NSW.” Mr Rees was previously Chief Digital Officer at Macquarie Group, acting CIO at Woolworths, and held various positions at Westpac over a ten year career.
The full agenda can be found here. As usual, we’ve curated an incredible programme featuring digital and data leaders from both the public and private sector.
The second annual Sydney CDO Summit is hosted at the prestigious Water Room at Pier One in Sydney on 15 March 2017. The venue has limited seating, so be sure to register now.
Last year’s Sydney CDO Summit sold out weeks early, in keeping with our sold-out summits in New York City (our 5th year) and London (our 3rd year).
The Sydney CDO Summit is your chance to take advantage of some of the most iconic sights and sounds that Australia has to offer.
Attendees at the Sydney CDO Summit will learn how to focus zealously on improving the customer experience, build and lead effective teams, and better understand how to increase competencies in digital, social, and mobile media.
Come and listen to Australia’s top digital and data leaders while enjoying a waterfront view of world-famous landmarks such as Luna Park, the Sydney Opera House and Harbour bridge!
Sip a cup of coffee and listen to experts discuss cutting-edge issues in digital, data, and customer experience, while watching the ferries and yachts pass under Harbour bridge.
Share and network with your peers over a delicious lunch – inside or outside on the dock – while taking in the panoramic views of Sydney harbour.
