Omni-Channel Customer Engagement Strategies

LEARN – SHARE – NETWORK
The CDO Summit is the premier event for
digital & data leaders:

July 26, 2017 | Washington D.C., USA
September 27, 2017 | London, ENGLAND

October 25, 2017 | Toronto, CANADA

We are excited to confirm the speakers and agenda for our upcoming DC CDO Summit on Wednesday July 26 at the W Hotel, in an intimate environment designed for networking and knowledge-sharing with your peers.

Is brick and mortar dead in the age of digital? The answer is absolutely not!

DC CDO Summit delegates will hear from Jay Chakrapani, Chief Digital Officer at Barnes and Noble Education, keynoting on “Omni-Channel Customer Engagement Strategies.”

Jay’s session will share examples of fluid customer experiences between physical, digital and mobile, and how technology is changing how physical spaces serve customer needs.

As Chief Digital Officer for Barnes and Noble Education, Jay leads the broader digital business and is responsible for strategy, business development, content, and operations for the digital product and service portfolio.

Prior to this role, Jay was President of the CK-12 Foundation, offering open education resources used by tens of thousands of schools and millions of students worldwide.

Prior to CK-12, he was General Manager of the digital business at McGraw-Hill for Higher Education. He led a team that launched the fastest growing adaptive learning platform in the college market, growing it from inception to hundreds of millions in annual revenue.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Wolters Kluwer Health; was a founding member of Opus360, a NASDAQ listed software company, and started his career as an engineer at Intel.

Everyone is focused on Big Data to drive insights and create redefined businesses, processes, and models, all in the name of Digital Transformation.

And there is real value in creating Big Data systems, approaches, and analytics to find business trends and correlations, and create systems that can prevent diseases, combat crime, drive sales and marketing, and so much more.

But most organizations can get a massive return by focusing inward and consolidating their own Enterprise Corporate Data.

Murray Izenwasser, CMO & VP, Digital Transformation at Transformation for
AAJ Technologies, will keynote on “Big Data? How about Enterprise Data first?

By bringing all your disparate data sets and remote datastores together, a 360-degree view of your customers across the enterprise will emerge, regardless of the internal or external touchpoint.

It’s not easy, but it is definitely doable.

By focusing on your corporate data as a first step in your Digital Transformation process, you will not only create the platform for all your other transformational initiatives, but you will also drive real-world top and bottom line revenue, increase customer and employee satisfaction, and improve processes throughout the organization.

Murray’s presentation is based on actual case studies and real world approaches to achieving one global, enterprise-level view of your customers to drive your business.

As VP, Digital Transformation, Murray helps define the digital transformation strategies for AAJ’s clients, and leads the strategic direction of AAJ’s Digital Transformation practice. He is also the organizer and host of the
Digital Transformation Forum, and the co-host of “The Digital Transformation Podcast.”

AAJ works with clients at every stage of the digital transformation process to make real and impactful change. This includes all inbound and outbound marketing, content, and CRM strategies, and online vs offline presence.
