Embracing Mobile and Growth Hacking

LEARN – SHARE – NETWORK
The CDO Summit is the premier event for
digital & data leaders:

July 26, 2017 | Washington D.C., USA
September 27, 2017 | London, ENGLAND

October 25, 2017 | Toronto, CANADA

We are excited to confirm the speakers and agenda for our upcoming DC CDO Summit on Wednesday July 26 at the W Hotel, in an intimate environment designed for networking and knowledge-sharing with your peers.

If your strategy is not mobile-first, it’s not customer-first.

And that is why we’re excited to be joined by Rob Roy: Chief Digital Officer at Sprint, who will keynote on “If you are not mobile-first, you are not customer-first.

Mobile readiness is an absolute necessity. The customer smartphone is on 24/7, and they use it at a rate that’s always trending upward.

Rob’s session will teach you how to do whatever it takes to motivate your company to adopt a mobile-first, customer-first marketing strategy.

Rob is the Chief Digital Officer for sprint.com and boostmobile.com with a mission to digitally transform the company, and help Sprint to become a mobile- and digital-first company.

Prior to Sprint, Rob was SVP and Head of eCommerce & Digital Revenue for comcast.com and business.comcast.com, responsible for the company’s e-commerce and digital revenue activities. He was responsible for the strategic vision, product development, and sales across all digital channels for both residential and business customers.

From 2011–2015, Rob Roy was Head of eCommerce and Digital Marketing for Time Warner Cable, responsible for e-Commerce, self service, and digital marketing activities.

We’ll also be hearing from Nancy Hensley, Director of Growth & Strategy, IBM Analytics at IBM Hybrid Cloud, keynoting on “Growth Awakening: Embracing A Growth Mindset to Make Products More Consumable.

Nancy will deliver a case study in embracing growth hacking techniques at IBM.

Leveraging growth in the on-premises analytics software market presented a unique challenge. Growth rates in general were much smaller than in the cloud, however investment levels by clients were much higher. Additionally, most of the data clients wished to leverage was stuck behind their firewall.

IBM needed to look at growth differently. Leveraging Growth Hacking techniques, IBM was able to accelerate growth with both a mature product and in a low growth market.

The lessons learned can be applied in many different companies and industry sectors.

Rob and Nancy are two of the thirty speakers presenting at the DC CDO Summit. More are listed below.
