#WomenInTech:
How Can We Help #MoveTheDial?

LEARN – SHARE – NETWORK
The CDO Summit is the premier event for
digital & data leaders:

October 25, 2017   |  Toronto, CANADA
November 29, 2017  |  London, ENGLAND

We have a fantastic line up that you won’t want to miss at the Toronto CDO Summit on October 25, 2017 hosted at Thomson Reuters.

Jodi Kovitz, CEO at AceTech and Founder at #MoveTheDial joins Aliza Lakhani, Director of Business Development and International Projects at The DMZ to present a Fireside Chat on “Why We Need To #MoveTheDial For #WomenInTech – And How We Are Going To Do It.

They will discuss why this is the moment to build a global movement to advance #WomenInTech in Canada and abroad.

Founded in January 2017, Jodi Kovitz‘s #MoveTheDial focuses on raising the profile of Canadian women in tech as leaders and role models, and on connecting Canadian female-owned Tech start-ups to resources and educational opportunities that can help their companies grow and scale globally.

#MoveTheDial also aims to connect ‘board ready’ women with tech experience to opportunities that will help them earn seats on the boards of series A+ startups, and connect girls and women to educational opportunities and existing community initiatives that will help them build skills for the future.

Jodi’s co-presenter, Aliza Lakhani, is the Director of Business Development & International Projects at The DMZ at Ryerson University. The DMZ is the top-ranked university incubator in North America and third in the world. It helps startups succeed by connecting them with customers, advisors, influencers and other entrepreneurs.

At the Toronto CDO Summit, we are helping #WomanInTech by giving leaders like Jodi and Aliza a platform to reach digital and data leaders throughout Canada.

But we’ve taken it a step further: as you can see from the agenda here and below, our Toronto CDO Summit program features more female C-Suite speakers than males.
